Some of you may already know that I lost my precious little girl Poppy earlier in the year, she was a Yorkshire Terrier. I have always loved Yorkies, I know they are not everyone's cup of tea. I am a member of a forum for people who love Yorkies, it is run by a lady who rescues small dogs. This is where you come in ..... she rescued a little dog called Amber who turned out to have Cushings Disease, this is very expensive to treat but this lady is determined to give Amber the best and to also help other dogs with Cushings. An appeal site has been set up for Amber to raise money for her treatment and for the treatment of others. You can read all about Amber on her own website and also by clicking through on some of the shopping links (shop4amber) you can raise money for her without actually having to give anything. Of course, if you feel you would like to donate then please feel free to do so.
You can find Ambers appeal here ....http://www.ambersappeal.co.uk
Oh what a tubby belly!
Piggy is currently sat like this next to me
with all her belly on show and snoring loudly! Taking pictures, taking a video of her snoring (trying out my new toy a nokia n95 phone) talking, the tv loudly on, being sandwiched between myself and ruth and ruth getting up and down at various points were all no bother to her and she's been happily snoring there for most of the evening. No what eventually woke her was the sound of ruth putting some food in pepsi's bowl and now she's moved and is trying to persuade me to give her the last drop of milk in my glass, controlled by her belly oh yes indeed!
I found these of my little girl asleep ... it's hard to believe that this time last week she was about to spend her last night with us. She loved sleeping in small spaces.( picsCollapse )
